“This place is so cute, we were in #6 on the top floor. The bed was very fluffy and soft, which my wife prefers (I like it a little more firm). You can see the ocean from the Inn, there is a cute front porch to sit on and smell the sea breeze, and it is walkable to the little downtown area. There are plenty of restaurant choices downtown for every meal (definitely check out Lil’s for breakfast). The bridge to Portsmouth is also walkable if you want to check out their downtown area!”
“We hated to leave! Our room ( #3) was great & so comfortable. The bathroom was “gleaming” it was so clean. Truly, one of the cleanest bathrooms i have ever seen. The bed was so comfortable. One of the best sleeps we ever had! Location was also convenient. A short walk over the bridge and you are in New Hampshire. Numerous restaurants, bars and really cool gift shops. Streets were very clean.”

Our 1-night stay at the Water Street Inn in Kittery was too short! Room 1 was simply lovely. The bed, the lighting, the wallpaper? Every detail appeared to have been given a lot of thought. And it’s not easy to make the visuals and the practical features work, but they did.”

For a vintage home converted I really enjoyed the modern features that this property offered without compromising the nostalgic feel of the home. My boyfriend and I stayed here recently in room four. This is a charming inn with great character. They made accommodations for us and were very pleasant. Downtown is right across the bridge for entertainment and food/drinks. Great option!
